PYRO is a live-fire grill concept restaurant located within L’OCA Quality Market in Sherwood Park, Alberta, offering high-quality, locally-sourced meals cooked over Canada’s largest indoor custom-built wood-fired grill. The brand blends high-end dining with a relaxed, social atmosphere, inviting guests to gather, enjoy craft beers and signature cocktails, and watch live sports events. ROUND was engaged to refine PYRO’s visual identity and create a website that captured the restaurant’s bold, primal energy while ensuring a seamless user experience that aligned with the L’OCA ecosystem.
We refined PYRO’s visual identity, elevating the logo, colour palette, and typography to reflect the raw, fire-driven dining experience while keeping a polished, high-end feel. The website design focused on visually capturing the essence of PYRO’s open-flame cooking, energetic dining atmosphere, and curated drink offerings.
Core features included easy access to reservations, menus, opening hours, and a dedicated section to showcase awards like Diners' Choice. Subtle CTAs were incorporated throughout the site to direct users back to L’OCA’s website for gift card purchases, PYRO-branded product showcases, and shared resources like Privacy Policy and Terms. Built within Craft CMS multi-site, PYRO’s site shared core components and content governance with L’OCA, while maintaining its distinct tone and personality.
