L’OCA Quality Market is a high-end grocery store that opened in Sherwood Park, Alberta, in Spring 2024. With in-store restaurants (PYRO and ORO), a café, and various fresh food bars, L’OCA aimed to create an elevated shopping and dining experience. They partnered with ROUND to refine their visual identity and deliver a phased website program that supported pre-launch marketing and evolved into a robust, content-rich digital platform aligned with their grand opening and future growth.
We began by refining L’OCA’s initial brand work, finalizing logos, colour palettes, and typography.
Phase 1 focused on a marketing website to build awareness, assist with recruitment, and provide construction updates leading up to the store’s launch. We established a scalable design system and content strategy that would support expansion in Phase 2.
For Phase 2, we designed and developed a comprehensive website featuring dynamic product showcases, department landing pages, booking functionality for in-store classes and experiences, embedded gift card purchase functionality, and content-driven sections for Recipes and Magazine articles. Craft CMS multi-site was leveraged to manage the L’OCA, PYRO, and ORO websites within a single platform, allowing content sharing and ensuring scalability for future stores or restaurant locations.
Following each of the launches, we provided post-launch support to ensure a smooth handover to L’OCA’s internal tech team.
